FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT ACTIVITIES DO YOU OFFER?
More than you probably realize! While horseback riding is our flagship service, we provide everything for a true Texas experience! We offer skeet (trap) shooting, archery, axe (tomahawk) throwing, equestrian lessons, birthday parties, and so many other instructed experiences! All you have to do is ask!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO RIDE?
Arrive wearing close-toed shoes (tennis shoes and boots are great!) and long pants. Sunglasses and bottled water can be helpful.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Arrive 30 minutes before your ride begins for orientation. During orientation, we'll get you fitted for helmets and introduce you to your horse in plenty of time before we head out!
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I BRING?
This is a working ranch, so we don't have ATM machines or vending options. We have saddle bags to store necessities. Bring a water bottle and some cash for your wrangler if you choose to tip them, although it is not required.
WHAT IS THE RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATION POLICY?
Rescheduling Policy: You are given one courtesy reschedule IF it is made outside of the 72 hour window of your reservation. If you are within the 72 hour window of your reservation, staff and resources are already secured for your reservation, so if you do still choose to reschedule, a 20% Rescheduling Fee will be applied.
Cancellation Policy: If you are local, try to reschedule! As far as cancellation goes, you are locked into that reservation once you are within the 72 hour window of your reservation. If you are outside that 72 hour window of your reservation, you may cancel your appointment and will be refunded 75% of your reservation.
WHAT ABOUT THE WEATHER?
We ride rain or shine, but will reschedule rides when we deem the weather is hazardous (lightning, etc.).
ARE THERE WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS?
We try to pair each rider with the right horse. Our weight limit is 250 lbs. For riders that exceed that, ask about alternate activites we can provide.
